"Three French Hens" - Part 2

At just three-and-a-half inches tall, these sweet Fair Isle hens are adorable! Each toy hen is knit seamlessly in the round with some simple colorwork in the body. This clever pattern is a fun and fast knit that makes the perfect gift for a little one in your life.

Skills Required: Able to cast on, proficient at knitting in the round, and able to use double pointed needles

Materials: 370 yards of fingering weight yarn (we are recommending Jameison & Smith 2-Ply Jumper Weight yarn because it is perfect for small amounts of Fair Isle knitting)*, US size 2 double pointed needles, and a copy of the pattern “Three French Hens” by Susan B. Anderson available on Ravelry through the shop

*For specific amounts of the main color and two contrast colors, please refer to the pattern.
