"Bousta Beanie" - Learn to Knit Fair Isle - Part 1

Do you love the look of Fair Isle motifs but have been too intimidated to give it a try? In this two part class, you will learn all of the basics you need to make a colorful, Fair Isle hat! The “Bousta Beanie” is a beautiful hat project by Gudren Johnston, a designer from the Shetland Islands. In class, we will go over the difference between colorwork, stranded knitting, and true Fair Isle, as well as how to maintain your gauge throughout your project. After this class, you will be well on your way to knitting more colorful projects all on your own!
