Beginning Knitting - Part 2

If you've just learned to knit, or are coming back from a knitting break, take the next steps in your journey with this class. You will have time to practice tension and the basic knit and purl stitches in a circular sampler cowl. The cowl will include 2x2 ribbing and garter stitch. You will also learn how to knit in the round on a circular needle and how to make a stretchy bind-off.

Skills Required: Basic knitting knowledge, knit and purl stitches

Materials: US #11 16” circular knitting needle and one skein (at least 125 yards) of chunky weight yarn from Yarn Shop Santa Cruz.
