Holiday Stockings - Part 1

It's "Christmas in July!" Get a jump on your holiday stitching with this festive stocking class. Is there a new baby in the family? A stocking is an heirloom that will be treasured for years. With this basic pattern you will be able to create your own style of stocking. Stripes, texture, knitted name, or different colored heels and toes, the possibilities are endless! You are sure to have fun playing with the options. In this two-part class you will learn the construction of a sock, turning the heel, changing yarn colors, and duplicate stitch.

Cost: $70

Skill level: Advanced beginner; must be proficient at knitting in the round.

Materials needed: Worsted weight yarn in your chosen colors, and US #8 needles for working in the round (dpns, Flexi-Flips, or long circular for Magic Loop), darning needle, copy of the pattern “Basic Christmas Stocking” which can be purchased at the shop.
