Learn the basics of sweater construction and create a cute gift for the special kid in your life in this fun two-part class. With several sizes to choose from, and knit in worsted weight, this versatile pattern promises to go quickly and easily for a variety of skill levels. During the class you will complete the majority of the child’s size top-down one-piece cardigan in garter stitch and ribbing, and a two-button closure; and will learn the skills needed to finish on your own.
When: Wednesdays, July 24 and August 7, 9-11am

Skills Required: Basic knitting knowledge - knit and purl stitches
Materials: 402-804 yards of worsted weight yarn, US size 8 needles, two buttons, stitch markers, and waste yarn or stitch holders, and a copy of the “Lottie” cardigan pattern by Carrie Bostick Hoge.
Prework: Please have a gauge swatch in your chosen worsted weight yarn to match 4.5 sts/inch
