Meet the Yarn Shop Santa Cruz Team:
Cory is a California native who came to Santa Cruz in the mid 90's. She is most happy and fulfilled when she is with family and friends. From a young age, Cory has worked creativity into all aspects of her life from the workplace, the home and out into the community. So, after homeschooling her children for 20 years, it was natural that she combined her love of connecting with people and something creative. She is delighted to be in the heart of Downtown Santa Cruz offering a warm and welcoming shop filled with a wide selection of beautiful yarn and notions.
Casey loves anything to do with yarn. Since she first learned to crochet when she was 7-years-old, Casey has been passionate about making! Besides fiber arts, she is interested in pretty much anything else that is creative. Casey is always looking for new things to learn and ways to create.
Heather loves to knit! For her it's about creativity, construction, technique, color and fiber. She usually has a knitting project close by for when there is a lull in the action. Her favorite thing in the world is her 5-year-old son Jax. She likes to adorn her hubby, son, and close friends with woolen wares. She sometimes wishes she lived where it snowed, but Tahoe isn't far. When the Zombie apocalypse breaks out, she will have her metal knitting needles with her.
Heather works in the shop, is our teacher coordinator, Knit Nurse, teaches classes and also private lessons. Contact her if you have any questions or you need a private lesson: firstname.lastname@example.org
