This beginning class will start you on your knitting journey. We will cast on your stitches so you can get right to learning the knit and purl stitch. Once you know these basic stitches, the possibilities are endless! Yarn and needles will be included with this class.

Recommended follow-up class - Knitting: Beyond The Basics

We understand that everyone learns at their own pace. Some students grasp the basics quickly and are ready to move on after just one session. For others, a few more sessions in our supportive, small-group introductory setting can be incredibly beneficial.

After your initial class, you have two great options:

• Repeat the Learn To Knit class: If you'd like more practice with the knit and purl stitches, or want to learn how to cast on and refine your techniques, feel free to sign up for this class again.

• Move on to the Knitting: Beyond the Basics class: If you're feeling confident with your foundational stitches, you're ready to explore new techniques and projects in our Beyond the Basics class.
